What we collect

Patch Map MTL lets people anonymously submit pothole locations. We store the submitted map coordinates, selected severity, submission time, and moderation status.

To limit abuse, we store a hashed version of the submitter's IP address and may store a hashed user-agent value. We do not intentionally store names, contact information, photos, or descriptions for public reports.

How we use data

We use submitted data to review reports, display approved potholes on the public map, and protect the service from spam or abuse.

Third parties

The app may use map providers, hosting providers, database providers, authentication services, and Sentry for error monitoring.
